Clubs & Activities 

Commencing from Week 1 Term 1 2020 the following clubs are available in the Library :

Book club - Monday lunchtime with Ms Lane (Viewing Room)

Chess club - Thursday lunchtime with Mr Curtis (Research 2)

Movie and popcorn session - Thursday lunchtime with Mrs McDonagh (Viewing Room)

We look forward to see the students there.

Transperth SmartRider Cards

All students will receive an Atwell College SmartRider/student ID when they commence at the College at the beginning of the school year. 

Students who commence during the year, after our College photos are taken will need to see our Library staff to have their photo taken in order to receive their complementary SmartRider

If a student loses their SmartRiderIf and a replacement is required they can be purchased from the Library for $5.00

Smartsuite

Students can log in to Smartsuit here Click on Sign In button located in the top right hand corner

User name: This is your student number located on your SmartRider card. Type in number and click on Next.

Password: Atwell

Borrowing Books 

Students are able to borrow up to three books at a time. Loan period is 14 days.

Magazines can be read in the library but can't be borrowed out.

Parents/Guardians/Carers will receive automatic email notifications if a student has an overdue loan.

Overdue, lost or damaged books will be invoiced to Parents/Guardians/Carers 


TV4Education

TV4Education allows students to stream video content for educational purposes and is integrated into Smartsuite , our library catalogue. It is cloud based so students can stream content from any internet enabled device.

  • For students to log access TV4Education, log in to Smart Library Cloud here.
  • User name: This is your student number located on your smartrider card
  • Password: Atwell
  • Go to the search box and enter the name of the movie/video your teacher has requested that you view.
  • Click on the record for your movie/video. It will have a TV4Education logo underneath it.
  • A media player window will appear in the record and allow you to stream your video.
  • Click on the i button to remove bibliographic data.

Wheeler eBooks

  • To access Wheeler eBooks and download an e-book at Atwell College, login to Wheeler EBooks here.
  • User name: This is your student number located on your smartrider card
  • Password: Pass

Limit is two books at a time, loan period is 14 days; Books will automatically be returned.

Wheeler Audio Books

Over 600 audio book titles available to you.  An audio book is someone verbally reading the story to you out loud.

Loan and download two titles at a time, 14 day loan period, automatic returns. Go to:

Other E-Resources available to you

Many full text databases and e-book collections are available to you with a public library membership or membership to the State Library (both which are free), and allow you to search from home.
