Year 7 Swimming Lessons

What a fantastic start to high school with a record 213 students attending swimming lessons. Held over the last 5 days the students have endured the hot bus ride to the spectacular Coogee Beach where they have skipped over the burning sand and plunged into the safe, cool water of Cockburn Sound. The lessons ran smoothly with only a few sunburnt bodies (not enough sunscreen applied) and the odd stinger bite. But with liberal use of sunscreen and a large bottle of sting goes we all finished the week as better swimmers.
