Year 9 Outdoor Education Program
For the first time, Year 9 has been incorporated into the Atwell College Outdoor Education program. Students in Year 9 have focussed on Marine studies, communication, and team building.
On the 12th of May the students went on an excursion to Point Peron where they partook in several activities based around team building, climbing, and beach games. The day ran very smoothly and was enjoyed by all, even in the damp conditions. It was really encouraging to see how the students have progressed both individually, and as a group. I was very proud of how students interacted with one another, and the excellent levels of cooperation shown by students in the team based activities.
